It is a shame that not every school has a library. I was lucky when I was growing up - my schools had libraries, but I also had parents who were able to buy me some of my reading material too. It is sad to think that there are children now who do not have the same access to the magical world of books, and the fantastic places that they can take us. Books feed a child's imagination, they help it to grow and explore. Every school needs a trained librarian, but every school also needs a library for that librarian to look after.
