The most silent door

He was losing his way.

In the house, no one was to be,

written down.

They stand together, he knows.

In his portrait, he knew

how to touch her strength,

and adorable youth, somehow.

She is not hers, he knows,

for longer than a minute ago.

At ease, the door closes, silently,

he hears her coming down,

down the rain as it never felt.
