Some degree of frivolity,
some half measure of losing oneself
completely in the motion,
the passion exchanged like a deal
struck, depth and speed and
the deep exhalation of a sigh
trapped internal and seeking.
This a combination, of all that
longing and an excess of ache,
a physical representation of an
unspoken yearn, the rhythm of flesh
on flesh and heartbeats as percussion.
This a song unwritten, but
improvised, sprawling out on
sheets like unstaffed paper,
fingertips here like violin notes,
dancing up and out and filling space,
here legs rub like cello depth,
soft groans like some bit of brass,
deep and guttural and full.
Roll around inside this, light into
the depth, rosette decorated and
signature designed. This the
amalgamation of halves into
wholes, just pieces, all of them
joining.
