Notables and Quotables
The following are what we call Notables and Quotables. Some are from our gaming sessions (pen and paper RPG known as Rolemaster) and others are from books published and books yet to come. I hope you enjoy!
This is from my current Work In Progress, Lords of Order and Chaos;
“All things can be a tonic or a toxin. It is all about judicious use.”
This one is from an rpg session a while back;
Tragic scene in which a player’s samurai character has disgraced his family and is going to commit ritual suicide. The gaming group is somber.
Player- I must now commit sudoku.
The rest of us look at each other and burst into laughter.
Clearly he meant seppuku and not the puzzle game of numbers.
This Notable and Quotable is from Roland's Vow, Book II in the Heirs of Vanity Series;
-“Your skill at finding logic to support the decisions of your heart astonishes even me some days,” El’ retorted.
This Notable and Quotable comes from Roland's Path, Book I of the Heirs of Vanity Series.
“Wait,” Eldryn interjected. “You have been lounging here hoping they would catch up to us?”
“Well, yes,” Roland said.
I love hearing back from readers about their favorite character, what they thought about a particular scene, or just that they're enjoying the book. Thank you so much for that! It means a great deal to me. If you enjoy any of our works, please leave a review on Amazon, Bookbub, or GoodReads.
You can learn more on Instagram @r.j.hanson or Twitter @rjhanson5 You can also follow me at https://www.bookbub.com/profile/r-j-h... and/or https://www.goodreads.com/author/show..., and by doing so you will get an email notification when new books are released and details about promotional offers.
More Notables and Quotables to come. Also, I may begin blogging about 'Confessions of a pantser learning to use an outline.'
