Rainbow Snippets October 6th
Happy Sunday! Autumn at last! A rainy dreary day here makes it ideal for pursuing my hobbies and knock out those chores too. My to-do list is a mile long and motivation is tough to find. Wish me luck!
This week I’m sticking with one of my first creations, “Love by the Numbers’. This has had a few covers, but the latest is below. The story is the same…about Scott the nerd and Jared the jock and how they find love while battling high school, hormones, and parental issues.
What is Rainbow Snippets? It’s a group of LGBT+ authors who post six sentences (or more) from a current WIP, published work or even something they’ve read that they want to rave about. Now, seeing him in person and getting to be his classmate piqued his curiosity.
For the
past two months, he’d watched Jared come in for algebra, usually a couple minutes late. Most
of the class would snicker in amusement. He’d always have some scantily clad
girl or muscle-bound guy by his side.
Today was no different.
Jared had come in book-ended
by two blonde cheerleaders. All he had to do was flash his glowing smile at
them and they followed him everywhere.
