Whoever would’ve thought when I was back in high school in Richmond, Indiana, that one day I would write a book about a boy and a girl who met in the school bell tower and later climbed the town Purina tower (you can see it in the background in picture two)? Oh the places you’ll go in this life! (FYI that’s not the real-life Finch in photo two. That’s @kraemersj — we met in 10th grade and have been besties ever since.)
