Which one is better between leadership and management?

It is difficult to say which is more important between leadership and management. Both of them are crucial.

Managers usually plan, control, co-ordinate and organize; while leaders craft a vision, build and inspire a team towards achieving the goal.

One could say that leaders come first, then managers implement what the leaders have outlined.

However, remember that it is possible for one to be both a manager and a leader at the same time. The only challenge we have is that we have too many managers and very few leaders. Therefore, we want more managers to evolve into leaders.
