#FurkidFriday: Logan The #Cavapoo And Lilie The #Westie's Grooming Session And Outing
Hi everyone. This is Logan the Cavapoo.
Me and Lilie went to some place called "groomer" a couple of weeks ago.
We went for a car ride, which wasn't too bad, although I don't know why we didn't use our paws. Lilie says it's because it's too far to walk. Maybe she's right, because we had lots of car ride... More than when we go to the vet place. At least, it felt like lots to me.
Then me and Lilie got left at the groomer place while Mummy and Daddy went to other places in town, which I was a bit confused about. But I got lots of attention while I was there - even if they did get me wet, and use things that made strange noises on me - so I guess that was sort of OK. I didn't mind what they were doing too much, because it got me attention, which I like, so I didn't make a fuss about it. I was super excited when Mummy came back though. I was worried she wouldn't.
Here's me and Lilie, freshly groomed:
Excuse me being sprawled all over the place in the first one... I fell over. Mummy and Daddy aren't sure if it was my own paws I fell over, or the groomer's foot (it was the groomer that was holding us when those photos were taken). But I fell over something.
Anyway, Mummy and Daddy said it's lucky they took the flashy thing to get those pictures right away, because I found dirt pretty quickly after. Not my fault I like to explore, and I'm a light coloured dog... Light coloured dogs always find it hard to stay clean, so why even bother trying?
So, after that,, we had another car ride, and we went to the Oscars place afterwards, and me and Lilie got lots of attention from the humans there. They always give us lots of attention, which is great! There's food at that place too, which is also great! Food and attention are the best things ever! Lilie says balls are, but I think she's nuts. How can she think balls are better than food?
Daddy gave us a bit of his chicken. I also had a bit of jackfruit and a chip or two off Mummy. Lilie didn't get those, because she turned her nose up at them. Her loss. They didn't give us much... Just a tiny bit so we felt included. Oh, and Mummy says to tell you before you ask, that she checked, and yes, it is fine for dogs to have jackfruit. Apparently it's actually good for our digestion. Don't know what that means, but if it means it's good for us to have something that's food, I'm all for it!
Anyhow, after the time at Oscars, we had some walkies to go home. I was glad, because I was getting very tired. So I had a nap when we got home. Lilie somehow found energy to play a bit first... Not sure how... But even she wasn't long before she had to have a nap after all that.
It was a fun, but exhausting day. Mummy says we'll be doing something like it again in a couple of months. I think I'm OK with that. Especially if we also do the bit with the food. Or we could just do the food part... That would work for me too... I'm not fussy.
Lots of licks,
Logan
