Grow Together (Post 358) – Learning Habits that help you Grow

You either learn and grow or you stagnate and die. The following habits help you to learn and hence grow.



Speed read first, then re-read for details.
Take notes.
Teach someone else.
Talk to yourself. Voice out aloud.
Use visual cues.
Chew gum – The action of chewing gum can help you learn and perform better in tests.[image error]
Participate when least comfortable – Raise your hand, ask a question, volunteer an answer, and be a part of a topic that you are struggling with.
Highlight and rephrase reading material.
Make up a rhyme or song – It improves the recall ability.
Look for imagery links.
Take study breaks.
Find practical applications.
Make physical representations.
Read important information before bed.
Practice breathing exercises.
