A lot of people ask how I managed to marry someone I didn't like and the answer is complicated but it can also be pretty simple: even though I didn't want to say yes to his proposal, I also didn't want to hurt him. Yet another thing I learned the hard way: the moment you stay with someone only because you don't want to hurt him or her you set a course to at least one seriously broken heart.
