One of my projects today was to cut some 80/20 15 series extruded aluminum and mount a 50 watt solar panel out in the backyard. Done. I’m going to use this to charge the batteries for my astronomy gear–and other stuff, using an inexpensive 10Amp PWM controller to manage power.
