What’s Your Favorite Scene In Lightbringer?

We know there are some of you who aren’t into social media (FB, IG, & Twitter), so we’re posting this question here:

What’s your most favorite scene from Lightbringer?

If you could pick one chapter from one book, which one would you pick?

And hey, please include spoiler alerts where necessary.

p.s. My (Dread Pirate CAPSLOCK) favorite is either Chapter 75 of Broken Eye… or Chapter 68 of The Burning White

Amber I've only read the first book so far, but I think I loved the whole concept of their (view spoiler)
I can't believe these aren't movies yet...

bookish_magpie Honestly, the entire series is a wonderful example of good worldbuilding and I love it so much.

However, probably one of my most favorite scenes/story arc (and the one that first came to mind) was (MAJOR SPOILER) (view spoiler)

I honestly wouldn't be able to pick just one chapter- It's very hard for me to choose "the one bestest thing." There are a multitude of beautiful and kick-ass moments that you have written...

But the amount of work you've put into the Chromeria and the Satrapies really shows. Also, as a Classics major, thank you for your awesome use of Latin and Greek- makes me very happy! <3 It's very different from the Night Angel trilogy, and you've done a brilliant job. (Also, this is something I noticed, but did you plan out the names of the books so that the first word always starts with a B?)

Thank you for all of your books!

Jonathan J Michael Tough to remember exactly which chapter it was, but I believe it was toward the end of The Black Prism. Dazen Guile finally (view spoiler) Brilliant method to display some of the world building.

Between this series and the Night Angel trilogy, it has inspired me to do my own world building and writing. Thanks Brent.

Can't wait for the next book!

Casey My favorite scene is the one when (view spoiler) I laughed for about 20 pages straight. The first time I read it, I was on a road trip with other people, and I immediately had to re-read most of the chapter to them out loud. We were all rolling with laughter, despite their having no context from the story.

Dogs The time Gavin Guile walked way exceedingly aware of his butt.
Still laughing every time I remember that moment.

PJ MASSIVE CLICHE' HERE: ALL THE MOMENTS ARE THE BEST! I've literally read through the trilogy, (now) QUADrilogy at least 4 times, and always enjoy these books. I'm very much looking forward to rereading them a 5th time next month, and am just a little sad the series is coming to an end. Cheers to you Mr. Weeks, for a brilliantly written set of books I put on par with Brandon Sanderson, and Robert Jordan who are some of my other favorite authors. Kip is only outdone by Kylar, who I felt was a better protagonist only because of the lack of magic in his younger years, but I always wonder, who would win in a one on one? Kid Kip, or kid Azoth?

And since this is a post about favorite scenes: (view spoiler)
