Hi McClaren! 4 fan asks: 1) What are the artists that inspire you for your style? 2) Are there memories of childhood related to drawing and animation? 3) how long does it take to make a simple illustration? I really like illustrations with background photo

1. Too many to list.

2.  I wanted to be an animator until I realized I didn’t have the patience for it.

3.  Maybe half an hour? And yep, I do take the photos!

4.  DC - Anything with Big Barda because she’s amazing.  Marvel - Hawkeye because it is stellar.  As for films DC - Shazam!  Because it’s delightful.  Marvel - Avengers cause it’s just fun.
