Bringing it back from my birthday dinner a few weeks ago. I’m all smiles for the camera, but snapshots are easy to doctor. And that’s all social media is: a snapshot.

In reality, I was in such a depressive dip that I didn’t even want to go out. But I did anyway. Because f*ck depression.

I leave for the @epicreads tour today. I’ll be documenting the shenanigans and keeping it real about how exhausting it is to travel when your brain is sick.

But! I’m actually pretty excited. I adore getting to see all you dear readers. I get to meet @shelbymahurin and @renathedreamer and hang out with @kendareblake again. It’s going to be a truly delightful trip, and I keep telling myself that when dark things start to creep up on me.

For now, I’ve got a plane to catch. Who will I see at @thatbookstorect tonight?
