An Author’s Random Musing: Summer’s End

Ah, summer’s end. Was it as hot for you as it was for me? I think I spent the majority of the past season hiding in the air conditioning! Still, I’m sad to see fall on the horizon because winter is not far off and I’ve heard rumors it’s going to be a frigid one!

Good news! Regency Rumors was released at the end of June! Here is the gorgeous cover. I love it so much! if you want to pick it up, it is free with Kindle Unlimited and is available for .99 cents here: https://amzn.to/2xdIboh

As far as writing goes, I completed a 100 for 100 challenge: write 100 words every day for 100 days! Most days I managed to get at least double the required word count and logged in a grand total of 38K words. This means that Best Laid Plans’ first draft is almost complete and I will be moving on to complete my other unfinished manuscript.

I also finished the first draft of Lady Evan Wins the Day before I began the 100-for-100 challenge. I’m not entirely satisfied with it, but I intend to let it percolate on the back burner for a while.

So, this has been a productive summer. I’m still not sure if I will be participating in NaNoWriMo this year, but we’ll see how things go.
