Pair of gloves

I wanted new clothes,

to cycle, to play tennis

and run in my fields.

Sixteen and seventeen years,

I suppose.

It was a basement

in a story, the city

where I live, now.

People and sounds had

disappeared, all of a sudden.

I doubted, at that moment,

but I could not, just could not buy

anything, out of there.

Then, I decided, slowly

to walk away, out of that

new base.

I saw then,

far away,

the easiest way

is something,

I will never,

ever forget!
