At the risk of making myself sound like a complete and total crank, I just have a brief rant: 

Most of the straight men that have been featured on Queer Eye have been pretty amazing, open-minded and willing to make a change, most of which has basically involved them growing up and learning how to do stuff like adults, and that’s great. I just watched the episode in season 4 with Matt the farmer and was irked by the sheer number of times he had to say something about spending a week with five gay men. I get it: it’s a new experience for you. How about you stop boggling at this crazy notion that gay men are also just regular people. I’m so tired of having to be patient with people like this - and don’t get me wrong; Matt the farmer seems like a more or less pleasant dude. But I’m tired of waiting for people like him to catch up. Fucking EVOLVE, dude! This show and these five incredible humans have spent so much money on you, your house, your LIFE, and you just can’t get past the notion that you not only were open-minded enough to have five gay men in your house at all, but that it wasn’t completely fucking terrible. I just can’t.
