Thank you again Maria, for inviting me for the interview. I thoroughly enjoyed it!Sheri & Georgiann, thanks for stopping by and good luck in the draw. :)
Cheers!
Michael
You're welcome, Michael. Thanks for stopping by, Nirmal, but I can assure you I only interview talented writers that I want to tell the world about. You won't find any 'wanabe' writers being interviewed on my blog! Self-publishing is the new rock'n'roll.
Good luck in the draw.
Michael, thank you.Maria you interview the best people....I will have my list of 100 "to read next year" just by your blog alone!
Peace
Sheri

LOL :) Good luck in the draw, Julie!
Sheri wrote: "Me too Julie,I admit I loved the Harry Potter series etc."
I haven't read any Harry Potter, I'm probably the only person in the world who hasn't...
Maria,That is fine..I am the only person who hasn't seen the movies....and Julie I just started your books....
Sorry Michael, I took over your interview..soon I will be rambling about how much I love your books!
Peace to all
Another great interview, Maria!I was never much into the fantasy genre. But, Michael, you are quickly changing that! I loved your two short stories. And, after recently having the honor and pleasure of an early peak at your upcoming book Bloodstone, I am now hooked!
I love how you transformed yourself and changed your name to go with that transformation. What a great idea! That's definitely a way to shed the skin, so to speak, and rid yourself of any bad associations from an earlier time. And your cats are adorable. :)
Another great reason to read these books..Darcia has great judgement on books! And I too agree on the kitties!
Those cats are gorgeous, aren't they?I'm like you, Darcia, I never really read much fantasy, but then I met Julie on Goodreads and when I read her fantasy books I really enjoyed them. After reading The Guardian's Apprentice, I am now really looking forward to the sequel :) I also have a copy of the pre-publication copy of Bloodstone, and am trying to find time to fit it in to my reading schedule.
LOL! Thanks Darcia, Julie & Sheri! I should probably point out though, that I don't own the cats - they own ME!The greatest part about writing (in my opinion, anyway) is getting to connect with readers and other writers. I have made so many new friends since publishing my story last year! Gaining those new relationships has been the most rewarding part of all. :)
I should point out that Maria and Darcia have been wonderful sources of guidance - if I could tell all new writers just one thing, it would be to join us at BestsellerBound!
Michael, I understand the ownership thing. I have three dogs and two cats and they rule the house! Thank you for that awesome endorsement! I feel the same way about our writing world. I've made some incredible friends who make the solitary world of writing much more fun! (And the promotion nonsense much more tolerable!)
I only have one cat and he definitely rules the house! Thanks, Michael for telling everyone about BestsellerBound. I feel the same way. Without the encouragement of fellow indie authors and readers, I doubt I would have been so productive with my writing.
Maria you interview the most interesting people. I will definetely have over a hundred books to read for 2012 just by recommendations alone.
I know the feeling, Georgiann... I come across so many books I want to read all the time, if only there was enough time to read all of them!! :)
I'm also a cat lover, and a magical fantasy author. I love reading the genre, too! Really nice interview.

Yep - I like book people!
Jodine wrote: "I'm also a cat lover, and a magical fantasy author. I love reading the genre, too! Really nice interview."Thanks, Jodine! Good luck in the draw!! :)
Really interesting interview. I'd never heard of BestsllerBound. And the book covers are great. They would really draw me to the book. The cats are darling and I like that they all have their own personalities.
I'm not a big fantasy reader, but I do read them. JK Rowling, of course. My son reads a lot of fantasy. That's not surprising, though, since he's the lead designer at a game company. He passes his fantasy books on to me.
I'm glad you enjoyed the interview, Helen :) Please feel free to join BestsellerBound. We love welcoming new readers and writers to the forum. Good luck in the draw, perhaps if you win, your son would enjoy it too!
Thanks to everyone who entered the giveaway! The contest is now closed. If you're a lucky winner you'll be hearing from Michael soon!

Happy New Year!
Michael
Thanks very much, Michael - all these good stories to read, when is time going to be on my side? Thanks again
Julie
Great interview. I know I've come in late but it's nice to learn more about a fellow author, and I agree with Maria, he is very nice :). I also see my dragons and cats as having similar characteristics. They must be distantly related.

Hmm... I'm not sure. That picture you posted of Muffy, on Facebook, trying to bite Idris's head off, makes me think maybe they don't like dragons very much LOLThanks for stopping by, Dionne :)

Ha! I think you might be right - she thinks Idris is her personal chew toy (which is why he is on a high shelf now!). :)

Very interesting interview. Now I have a few more books to add to my "to read list" not that it is a bad thing..thanks for the interview...
