The Last Apollo

My wife and I spent two weeks in July on the road. We paid a visit to my older daughter in Kansas City and then visited some colleges that my younger daughter is considering after she graduates from high school in the spring. On the way to Kansas City, we stopped in to visit my wife’s aunt in Hutchinson, Kansas. While there, she took us to see the Cosmosphere.

Clay Davis Visited the Cosmosphere 7-20-19, very impressed with the Saturn V engine parts on display that were recovered from the Atlantic Ocean. Standing under the SR-71 Blackbird is awe inspiring, the aircraft looks like a spacecraft in its own right.

Sounds like you were there just about a week and a half after I was. There was so much to take in I know I need to make another visit when I next get the chance.
