Yeah, I didn't see that post until after my comment, sorry. But I just now tried the links for JotD, and yes, the Kobo went to .ca for me. (Even if it doesn't, Kobo provides a link to my local version whenever the book is available there.) By the way, Indigo simply provides a link to the Kobo site once you've landed in its store. I think Apple is Apple wherever you are. (My iPad wouldn't let me "View the book in Apple Books" but I don't know if that's on my old device or a faulty link.) The other two don't have Canuck versions, but I see that B&N is selling the paperback. That is tempting. Indigo could offer that too.
Apple seems to work for me, for what that's worth.
