Keep going

Oh, I literally never stop! Seriously: when I have a slice of free time, what I do is THIS. The last time I wrote a fic that had more than 10 chapters, I was posting it as I wrote it and I could barely live with the stress. That was Against the Rest of the World, which is 152K long (about) and took me four full months to write, with me posting a chapter about every 6 days. I finished it RIGHT before series 3 dropped, with a sigh of relief and also despair that the new canon was going to immediately make it irrelevent (though happily, people do still read it!). It took every scrap of my spare time, and I was only working part-time then. I decided after that one that I wouldn’t post WIPs again. Which is to say that: while I may not post all of a story at one time, I never post any of it before the entire thing is done now. Basically all this is to say that, now that I’m working both a full-time job (museum) and a part-time job (voice teacher), with some freelancing on top of that (I’m a classical singer and nutritional coach and occasional article writer), I’ve nonetheless been working on this story continuously since I posted my last one, Isosceles. So it IS going, I promise you!!

Also this isn’t a rant, at all. :) I love and thank you for your encouragement!

Also #2: I just surpassed 2.2 million words of Sherlock fic! :)
