After hearing thousands of participant questions, there are some questions that add to the group’s learning and some that distract. Here are 6 rules for asking good questions as a participant.

The old saying goes, “there is no such thing as a dumb question.” Questions can, however, be ill-timed, off topic, or not relevant to the group.

My bias in asking a good question in a workshop, class, or meeting is that it benefits the group learning process.
