Time to Learn

She loved Goodreads.

I watched a video a couple of days ago and an author, who's name I think was Karen, though I'm not sure about that, sang the praises of the platform.

I used to spend time here back when I first started to write novels. I think all the focus on trying to "quit the day job" led to GoodReads falling through the cracks.

It's changed quite a bit since I last came here regularly.

I have a lot to learn.

For instance, I'm not entirely sure who reads blog posts here. This got me thinking and I have questions.

How do readers find the blog posts?

Will anyone see this post?

Why are guinea pigs just so darn cute?

I used to blog everyday, on my own site, but last wrote a post on March 26, 2016, which broke a consecutive day streak that went back to Jan 2, 2010.

It wasn't until this moment that I realized I missed putting my thoughts down in a blog.

So, does it really matter if anyone reads my posts?

I guess it doesn't.

Just sitting here and banging out my musings made me happy. It got my writer juices flowing and now I think I'll go work on my current WIP.

Thanks for reading.

Michael Since I follow you on Goodreads, I got a notification via email- so I came here to read your post. Love your books- and I imagine I would enjoy your blog posts in the future as well!

Robin Depolo I so enjoyed your books and check periodically to see what you are doing in an author kind of way.

John Just watched you on YouTube 20 Books Las Vegas. Nice slides... I can imagine. Nice pivot to old school story telling. You mentioned access to a Copywriting course. Can't find anything. Do you have a link or QR code. Nothing published...YET so no rush. Thanks
