While I haven't touched the New 52 and am unlikely to do so in the near future I have to say it's been a widespread failing to judge the comics so quickly. People were really hammering series after the first issue when I can think of few ongoings I really got into before the 3rd to 5th issue. Audiences are pretty impatient.

I should also add however that at least as the Tumblr audience goes there are lots of people who are fans of Oracle, Steph, Cass and the pre-boot DCU in general not inclined to be charitable when it comes to Babsgirl.

That's understandable and perfectly fair.
