Joining Entangled Publishing!

I decided to branch out, and took an intern position at the fabulous Entangled Publishing reading slush for an editor. Not sure what I mean?

An editor gets tons and tons of email every day. Since they are only human, and can only do so much, people like me come in. I will read 1-5 manuscripts a week, giving a page long report on why or why not a manuscript should be looked at by her. She can then read my report, and decide from there what she wishes to do.

I'm excited to be given the opportunity to see what it's like on the other side of the slush pile, so to speak. It'll be a fabulous learning experience, I'm sure.
