GUIDE TO ‘WAYWARD SON’ EDITIONS

So I thought I’d put everything I know about Wayward Son editions, special editions and translations all in one place! I’ll update this page as I know more about release dates and covers in specific countries. Right now I only have information about English-language editions. If you’d like to order an edition from a different country, make note of the ISBN number and then try an online bookstore like Book Depository.

Standard U.S. Edition

This is the hardcover edition you’ll find in most American bookstores and online at Amazon. It features a cover illustrated by Kevin Wada, plus beautiful endpaper and interior illustrations by Jim Tierney, and a foil stamp on the case (the hard board of the book).

This is a hardcover edition offered exclusively by Barnes & Noble. It will have the standard interior illustrations by Jim Tierney, plus full-color illustrated endpapers by my Runaways partner Kris Anka. (The Sun and Moon Editions each have different sets of endpapers. I’ve seen them; they’re so gorgeous.) Plus! This dustjacket will have silver foil, and the case (the hard board of the book) will be stamped with foil artwork. This edition also has a chapter annotated by me.

This edition features a letter from me. (I don’t know what it says. I haven’t written it yet.)
