Long Time No Post… I’m Back!

Shalom and Howdy, Everyone!

Ruby Mae here! I know it’s been a while since my last post. So, I’ll try to make it a good one. I’ve been busy since my last post, what with writing my novels and such. Anywho, on to today’s post.

I read a book recently called Double Deception, by Terri Reed. It was a really good book. Both the hero and the heroine were struggling with a sense of betrayal due to previous relationships. Which, in turn, left them with trust issues toward each other.

I’m wondering, how many of our relationships are experiencing trust issues due to things that happened in the past? How many of us have felt betrayed by someone we trusted before? I’m sure all of us have at some time or another to some extent. Maybe it’s something as innocent as the loss of a loved one and you feel betrayed because they left you too soon. Maybe a friend didn’t treat you fairly or a sibling took someone else’s side rather than standing next to you.

Now, for my next question. How many of us, because of these past incidents, have allowed our trust in God to falter? Have we somehow blamed God for those hurtful times? Do we believe He is unworthy of our trust?

I’m here to tell you, God never changes. He loves you with all His heart. If He didn’t He surely wouldn’t have sent His only begotten Son to die for you. God sent Yeshua(Jesus) to this earth to pay the price for our sins. Christ shed His precious blood on a cross on Calvary’s hill nearly 2000 years ago. The God who did that loves you too much to turn His back on you. A God who loves us that much, my friend, is definitely worthy of our trust. And not just part of our trust. God is worthy of our complete trust. He desires us to place our whole life into His capable hands.

Friend, don’t hold yourself back from God. He loves you more than you can possibly imagine. Anything in your past is not God’s fault. All things work together for good to those who love God. We may not see the whole picture yet, and maybe we never will until we go to heaven. But God sees the whole picture and, trust me, it’s a masterpiece.

Look at it this way, we’re staring at a painted canvas of a scenery. But the canvas is so close to us, all the brush strokes appear to be smudges and smears all in the wrong places.

Because, we’re only seeing a small part, right? But, if we were to take a few steps back, the whole picture comes into focus and we see the beautiful scene.[image error]

That’s the way it is with our life. We’re too close to see it all at once. Everything seems all wrong at times. But then God pulls us a step back. We see a bigger part of the picture and see that those strokes were right all along. That’s how amazing God is. Our life is the canvas on which God paints His masterpiece. But only if you belong to Him.

If you’ve never given God your heart and asked Him to save you, won’t you do so today? Tomorrow may be too late. It definitely isn’t promised. Contact me today, if you have any questions or need help in understanding how to receive God’s free gift of Salvation.

Many Blessings and Shalom, Friends,

Ruby Mae
