Snowfall and slashes in the snow reviews and review blitz

Snowfall review: I’m not entirely sure what the point of this novella is. It’s labelled a prequel, so I assume you would read it before Slashes in the Snow, but (and I haven’t read Slashes) it doesn’t feel like the start of a series. It feels more like more information on a couple you like in Slashes so you read this afterwards.Having said that, it was an okay book. It’s a lot light on information, there’s no real intro to the MC, or to any of the characters. It does seem as if it’s setting up for a kicking off point for Slashes, but again, it’s so light on information I feel as if I could do without this novella and just dive right in.It’s been a long while since I’ve read an MC book so I’m intrigued, but I wouldn’t bother with this book. Might this change after reading the next? It’s possible, but as it stands, this seems a little pointless to me.
