Mulling

Two novels. Both drafted. Now, I am mulling. Are they where I want them to be? Doing what I want them to do? I think I will edit one again...are any of you writers? Do you ever mull? I am taking a few days away to breathe so I can come back and look at the books with fresh eyes.
