Zodiac Sign: Capricorn

Height: 5′4″

Hogwarts House: Meh. JKR ruined all that for me. 

The last thing I googled: Walking directions to the apartment I went to see yesterday. 

Favourite Musicians: Pass on this one. Far too much to choose, even if I could narrow it down to one genre. 

Song stuck in your head: That horribly annoying Friday song, which has been in my head since yesterday, which was really irritating! 

Followers: As of this very minute, 5,379

Do you get asks?: No, very rarely! 

Amount of Sleep: Literally never enough. These days, like 5 hours. 7-8 is my aim, but I literally just don’t have enough time of late. 

Lucky Number: 8. Favourite number, not necessarily lucky. 

What are you wearing: The black tank top I just bought. :)

Dream job: Stay-at-home fic writer, lol. Or maybe a spa reviewer… 

Dream Trip: There are tons of places I’d like to see… lately I’ve been dreaming of going on a spa and fjords tour of Scandinavia. :)

Instrument: I’m a more or less self-taught pianist (aka, I play functionally enough to accompany my students in recitals, but I don’t have much technique), played flute until the end of my first year of university, dabbled in organ, but as a classical/opera singer, my major instrument is definitely my own voice. 

Languages: English is my first language. I also speak French, have forgotten a lot of German but still understand it fairly well and occasionally think in it (my mom and maternal grandparents spoke it, and I grew up in an English/German church, have travelled and briefly lived in Germany, etc), have studied Latin and can say some version of “hello” or “thank you” in about 20 other languages. When I was in Syria (in 2000, long before the current mess), I had learned just enough Arabic that I could barter in the souq. That’s a language I’d love to get better at. As a singer, I’m trained (and can coach other singers) to sing in English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Czech, Latin, and at least two types of Spanish. 

Favourite song: I don’t have one. The entire realm of music, in all its forms, is just too much to be this narrow about, for me. 

Random Fact: Hmm. I once got Stephen Colbert to sing and dance at my personal request. :)

Aesthetic: Tights or jeans and a black (probably) shirt. Sneakers or sandals or pointy flats. Hair long and air-dried to let it be wavy and utterly uncontrolled. Lol.
