At a distance

At a distance

I will never forget,

who brought a switch,

a turning point

in my own personal Tide.

I will never forget,

the meaning,

of certain months.

I never had such a life,

and then, it was there.

It would be.

The decision and

after a while, other choices

I made, had to be taken.

I could not wait, it was exactly

in time.

Eight months almost broke

my back and my legs needed

wooden, steel lights of flames.

In a distance,

I watched it all.

I knew then,

from a distance

it would all be taken, away.

Someone, somehow

had to have the courage,

to look at it and believe in All,

at a distance.
