A tailor’s tale

I have been running on the stage

almost over the borders of water.

I have been touching the highest lights

just, just a piece, a little space under the roof.

The audience has been listening, and watching

my performance with ballet dancers on sweet

soft music, little ears cannot remember to laugh

that way, the dance has been forgotten my day.

The text, the message and words are learned

by the old class of my students, while the teacher

dances in the night, shelters love me by bright light

as slowly, the curtains fall, my evening shadows a candle.
