Another great review!

“'The Bat' by Leslie Garland is an outstanding read:
‘To one who has faith no explanation is necessary…’ St Thomas Aquinas
‘The Bat’ relates the adventures of Thomas and his friends, the joys of youth and the fractures of coming of age. The focal point of the story surrounds a classroom with a new teacher and a collection of stuffed animals donated to the school by a benefactor Perhaps an odd gift this, but a portal to explore the unknown: the ‘stuffed’ animals are not inert – and a bat in a bell jar emerges full of mysterious presence, The manner in which Tom and friends respond is the essence of the coming of age ordeal, and Leslie relates it in a manner that is at all times thoroughly smart and entertaining. Exceptionally fine writing and a fine invitation to follow these Red Grouse Tales!”
Coming from such an august publication, I confess I do feel a bit chuffed about it and it would seem that many here on Goodreads agree with this, as this book has over 300 ratings and an average of 4.39 stars. Unfortunately, its Amazon review rating is still low with only 4 reviews, though all at 5 stars, on amazon.com. So I would very much appreciate your reviews on Amazon!

Having just got back from a foreign trip (the literary highlight was that of passing through the village where Ovid was buried - southern Ukraine) I am somewhat out of touch and trying to catch up with mails, etc. Hoping it won't be too long before I am up to date.
Thanks for your continued support. All tales are FREE on Kindle Unlimited. Most of the individual tales are priced at only $/£ 0.99 each. All can be found on; https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_...
