Romance is characterised by moon and candle light,
Secret clutches in shadowed nooks away from prying eyes,
But I have no wish for any inch of you to be hidden away.
I want noon on a summers day,
I want sunshine and windows and curtains pulled back.
I want to see you face and your body and every wisp of your hair as I press lazy kisses to your mouth, constructing a mental map of the curves and plains of your skin.
The night will intrude soon enough.
