Firstly, thank you for taking the time to provide such a long and thought out response. I see your point, and perhaps I didn’t adequately explain myself in the piece.

Let me attempt to rectify this.

I am in no way saying that a victim of rape, oppression, bullying etc is responsible for having the crime done to them.

As a child I was a victim myself.

I am also not saying that we shouldn’t as society and as an individual confront those problems. I speak out regularly and loudly against it...
