I was looking up some of the affiliates associated withNASAand quickly recognized"The Men In Black Government Agency,"DARPA.
If you have never heard ofDARPAand my reference to the movie franchise calledThe Men In Blackconfuses you,DARPAis theUnited States'version of giving money to any crazy idea agency,and what they do with it is supposed to be a secret. The acronym stands forThe Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.Meaning,they will give money to the strangest research ideas that scientist can come up with,in the name ofNational Security. Some of these ideas are then given toEntrepreneursfor the benefit of the public after theMilitaryfigures out how they can use it first.One such idea wasCars For Blind People.We now know them asAutonomous Self Driving Cars. Another.Mind-Controlled Artificial Arms. Which became the wonderful advancements inProstheticswe have today.Of course they are also trying to developThe Laser Guided Bullets,A Flying Submarine,andRobot Cyborg Insects.(They succeeded with the cyborg insects already.)So all those crazy gadgets you see in the movieThe Men In Black? Somebody is probably working on them right now!
