Ancient Constellations

I was asked recently if it was possible to create a map of Earth using stories from other ancient civilisations....this is based on the discovery that the stories surrounding the Greek constellations can be used to wrap the stars around Earth, to create a very accurate map of Earth.

As far as I know, the only complete system is the Greek system. For example Cancer the Crab is clearly linked to water (as is Aquarius), and Hercules has to be linked to land. When the stars are wrapped round Earth at the alignment defined by the Great Pyramids, the stars then place water constellations over the oceans, and land constellations over the continents.

When I reviewed other ancient systems I found the Norse and Chinese maps of the constellations are incomplete.

If anyone know of any other complete system, that identifies certain stars with water and other stars with heroes, I really would like to test them, to see how they compare with the Greek legends.

If the same stars are marked as water and land, it would go a long way to confirm the star map and the written language was used worldwide.
