Here’s my Veil Nebula update from Friday’s imaging run. That last post was way too crunchy. It was okay considering I was running on coffee and three hours of sleep from the night before. This is much closer to what the Veil should look like, gaseous but moving rapidly, and somewhat transparent. I cropped the image to NGC 6992, 6995, etc., the brightest arc of hydrogen (red) and oxygen (blue).  More of my astro stuff: https://SaltwaterWitch.com/blog
