A large site thought to be a Wichita (Kitikiti'sh) town from the European contact period, designated by the Spanish as the "Great Settlement of the Rayados." This town was estimated by the Spanish in the 1590s as having 12000-20000 people, a similar population than that of modern Arkansas City, KS, built on the same site.
