Short Stories Again

Here it is, almost the end of May, and Gregor Xane assures us that it's still International Short Story Month for a few more days yet... I guess it's about time for Smashed-Rat-on-Press to jump on the reminder band-wagon!

There are plenty of SROP volumes that contain short stories, which could be read in May, or any other month. Anyone who follows the bread-crumbs can get one or more for free. Here are a few examples:

The River Rises on Fanny's Future, and other stories by Sanguinity Hematode A Modest Collection of Slightly Shocking Fairy Tales by Richard McGowan The Maiden Who Turned to Water by Mantissa Etherbright How the Feather Sisters Came to Rule the Night by Mantissa Etherbright The Little Book of Chrysean Tales by Richard McGowan Yvette's Gift and Other Stories by Richard McGowan Three Maidens in the Dark by Kajolium Broadwick

As we approach the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing in July, some fans of Kajolium Broadwick might want to re-read Three Maidens in the Dark, which also contains short stories. Oh, wait, you haven't read it yet? Never mind. LOL.

Carry on, please. And if you're in the U.S. of A., have a safe and memorable Memorial Day weekend.
