The Girl He Used to Know
The Girl He Used to Know by Tracey Garvis Graves is warm, emotional, and wonderful. This is a love story between Annika, a woman on the autism spectrum, and Jonathan, her college sweetheart. Annika and Jonathan first meet at chess club and strike up an easy friendship. But when their friendship blossoms into romance, Annika must learn to navigate a whole new world.
As much as she loves Jonathan, a traumatic event causes them to separate. Ten years later they run into each other and slowly begin again. I loved
The Girl He Used to Know. The story was equal parts sweet and sad, and very realistic. The characters were warm and wonderful, and the reader is easily drawn into their world.
One of my favorite books,
On The Island, is also by Tracey Garvis Graves, but now
The Girl He Used to Know ranks right up there!
