Twenty-five years ago today:

December 7, 1986
Sunday

I (at least) went for a short bike ride today.

My Dad was in a grumpy mood.

Ashley wanted to watch RAINBOW BRITE and THE CHIPMUNKS (her Top Favorites in cartoon world).  I watched a bit with her.

I napped and then got ready for my date with Eileen Grabinsky. I drove over the San Mateo bridge in search of a grand home in Hillsborough.

I picked up Eileen. She looked really good. The house was quite nice. It had three garage doors. I drove into Burlingame at some Mexican Restaurant for a light bite and a drink. We proceeded to go to THE VORTEX for dancing.

Eileen and I actually talked a lot. We began to get to know each other better. She is nineteen years old. I learned that she is an aspiring actress.
Eileen laughed, "Of course I don't have any experience and don't know where to start."
I encouraged her to pursue her dreams.  We had a nice evening.
