CYCLE OF THE WEREWOLF New Edition

The classic masterpiece by #1 New York Times bestselling author Stephen King—illustrated by the legendary artist Bernie Wrightson!

Something inhuman has come to Tarker’s Mills, as unseen as the full moon riding the night sky high above.

The first screams came in January from the snowbound railwayman who felt the inhuman fangs ripping at his throat. The shrieks of ecstatic agony from the woman attacked in her cozy bedroom were heard the following month. As the year progresses and the seasons change, scenes of unimaginable horror unfold in the isolated Maine town of Tarker’s Mills. No one knows who will be the next victim. But one thing is certain—when the full moon rises, a paralyzing fear sweeps through the community. For snarls that sound like human words can be heard through the wind…and all around are the footprints of a monster whose hunger can never be sated...

message 8: by Juana (new)

Juana a new edition of this classic! yes please. Cycle of the WerewoIf wasn't part of my Stephen King independent "study" last year, but i wish it had been. the 25 i did read were... of course superb.

JK I'd buy this just for Bernie Wrightson's art alone. I mean Id buy it anyway but that's just an added bonus.

message 13: by Louisa (new)

Louisa There are no comments gracious enough to equate the magnitude of brilliance Stephen King has shared with his constant readers. I leave it with: I love you for the thought provoking entertainment you enhance so many lives with, and thank you.

message 14: by Roxane (new)

Roxane I have a question is this edition the same as the first edition?

message 15: by joyce a moskal (new)

joyce a moskal I must say that I was disappointed in Cycle of the Werewolf. It was the story of Silver Bullet, shorter, some characters’ names changed, but essentially what happens in Tarkers Mills when a werewolf descends on the town. 👎👎👎

You do realise silver bullet is an adaption of cycle of the werewolf, right?

message 17: by joyce a moskal (new)

joyce a moskal An adaptation of a story is one thing but this went
beyond “adaptation”. It’s just my opinion and I have
been a lifelong fan of Mr. King’s work. I will continue to
read all his work.

You do know the book was out first though? That's all I'm trying to clear up. I read it as though you were saying it's just a silver bullet copy.

message 19: by joyce a moskal (new)

joyce a moskal Yes, Glen, I did know that. It was an old movie
with Gary Busey and Corey Haim, also.
Thus my comment.
