Benedict Cumberbatch as Martin Crieff, the world’s best/worst pilot: incompetent, status-obsessed, rule-adoring, and a hopeless loser, yet you will do everything in your power to protect this muffin

Roger Allam as Douglas Richardson: smug, arrogant, very competent, will 1000% steal your whiskey and beat you at every game and make drawling, sarcastic remarks throughout

John Finnemore as Arthur Shappey (also the author of the series!): 28-and-a-half years old, endearingly childlike, and don’t even ask what’s in the surprising rice, because frankly that question is not really in the spirit of surprising rice!

Stephanie Cole as Carolyn Knapp-Shappey: owns an airline* because she won it, on purpose, from her horrible ex-husband and named said airline MJN Air, which stands for “My Jet Now”. And that’s really all you need to know about Carolyn.
