'Get your scandal fix here!'

Whenever I see a copy of HOLLYWOOD SINNERS in Smiths, or Waterstone's, or Asda, I have to touch it. I wonder if this will ever wear off, or if I'll develop some OCD and start loitering creepily in supermarket aisles, stroking the cover. So, um, if you see me, don't be afraid to say hi!

The last few weeks have been masses of fun. I'm hard at work getting my rewrites in for Book 2 (out at the start of next year) and I'm hugely excited about that. It's going to be a shocker! (As in, it'll shock you: not, it's shockingly bad. At least that's the idea.) And I've also done my first ever LIVE TV appearance on The Vanessa Show. Wow. I was so nervous. But it went great and the experience of being in a live studio with all the cameras and, of course, the inimitable Vanessa Feltz, was pretty incredible. Vanessa is amazing: polite, professional, interested - everything I'd hoped for and more. I was tempted to curtsey when I met her but I just about resisted.

Also in the green room was legendary broadcaster Jenni Murray and the lovely writer and journalist Kate Mulvey. We got to chat for an hour or so before the show began, but, when it did, the time went by in a flash. Here's hoping it'll get everyone picking up a copy of HOLLYWOOD SINNERS for a juicy summer read.

In other news, we've had excellent reviews in both Now and Closer magazine. Seeing as these are the magazines I've been devouring for years, it's weird to see my book featured in them. Now gave the book FIVE STARS and had it as their Book of the Week, saying: 'We should've seen the twists in this sinful bonkbuster coming, but two of the surprises were so shocking that we ended up startling the other commuters on the bus . . . This sweltering tale about the dark side of showbiz had us completely hooked.' While according to Closer it's '[a] thrilling novel . . .
