Trusting the Master

I recently helped my friends while they were away with a little tending for their inside dog. Not much was needed, but just to let him out to relieve himself a few times a day, while others were covering his meal times. Which got me thinking.

Are we trusting the Master, our Father God, in every situation we face? This little furry fellow had no worries that his needs were going to be met, even though his master wasn't home. Even though he didn't see his main caregiver for a few days, everything had been meticulously planned so that he would not go hungry, thirsty, or need shelter. He patiently waited for assistance in calm assurance that his master would provide care in his absence.

My friend, even when it feels like God is absent from your life, I assure you, He is not. If you are feeling alone in your struggles, I can assure you that you are not. I'm in the same place. Kind of feels like the Saturday of Easter weekend. Everything is dark and still. It seems like hope is scarce and the darkness surrounds me. I can't see around the corner, much less the future. But the Word of God promises me that He will never leave me nor forsake me. He promises me that not a sparrow falls to the ground that He does not notice, and yet, I am worth more to him than all the birds in the world. And His Word tells me that nothing can separate me from His love.

Even though I'm in a perplexing and stressful time in my life, and I feel alone in my struggles…I know my God is with me and He will see me through. He will see you through, too, just trust in Him. Be trusting of your Master, who knows your needs before you even realize you have them.
