When I saw this I was actually screaming in happieness.

One thing that I really liked about the first film was that while it changed up the actual story considerably, it still understood what the book was actually about: the friendship of a group of losers that strengthens, and helps them survive the terrors around them. I try not to watch trailers of movies that I know I'm going to see (they often spoil the film, or outright lie about what it's about, anyway), but I'm hoping that the second part sticks the landing.
The trailer looks great. I am intrigued to see how they pull off the second half with the altered structure. I really enjoyed the structure of the book going back and forth and revealing the two timelines simultaneously. There was an added element of mystery to that. There is alot of content in the beginning of the adults story but not as much in the second half. Hopefully the filmmakers don't inflate the story to fill time.
After loving the book a lot, I really am looking forward to watching the Chapter Two of It!
It looks really good but nothing can compare to the book! I started reading it again today (over 20 times read and counting!) and look forward to seeing the movie. Of course it could never be as scary as the one I see in my mind while I'm reading the book.
Of course! Books are ALWAYS better Lol No director/actor can change any reader's imagination!
Books can do so much more, and can get away with so much more than what television and movies can. I have a paperback copy of IT. Looking forward to reading it this year at some point (never read it before).

Great cast selection. super excited for the movie. The book is one of those that you dont get bored reading, which is a good thing because its over a thousand pages. Love the book, first movie was good, second movie will be great
