This is what I see when I am working, this is the graceful, calm, kind, irrationally beautiful woman I follow into our weddings, our photoshoots, our adventures. This beacon of light and hope and joy. This is not work, when I am with her, this is lucky wandering, this is peace. I am convinced that it’s this feeling, that helps create the art we do when we photograph people, that allows us the space within ourselves to show the people we are photographing themselves, often for the first time.
