Benedict Cumberbatch commands up to £7.5 million a film. But after hearing from Royd Tolkien, he waived his fee in a secret deal. “The key thing is that his kindness was done in secret.”
I’m not even slightly surprised because this is so Benedict. But I’m very pleased with the news and so proud of Benedict.
He has a wonderful heart.
Not surprised at all. He’s an incredible human being and I love learning yet another thing like this about him!
