I’ve read so many books where the author teases the reader with the possibility of ass play in the future and I read that bit in your book and was like, this is never going to be mentioned again, is it? Then I found A First Press of Olives on AO3.

After I did the little tease for ass play in Destroyer of Light all I could think about was how that would end up going down (of course she would initiate?),

couldn’t get it out of my head (but what do they use for lube in Ancient Greece?),

and those two ideas promoted me to write something pretty delightfully dirty (meh, no one’s going to want to read this WAIT YES THEY DO uh oh I think I pushed the envelope too far this time OK SO THEY LIKE IT WHEN I PUSH THE ENVELOPE)

and I haven’t looked back since
